Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are teaming up again for the crime-thriller RIP for Netflix.
The film, which they star in and produce, comes from their production company Artists Equity.
Deadline broke the news and also reported that the film aims to start shooting in the fall.
No plot details have been shared about the project that was shopped around before landing at Netflix – where Jennifer Lopez’s Atlas recently made a big splash.
Affleck, 51, and Damon, 53, have teamed up on films several times, most notably on their Oscar-winning Good Will Hunting and the Michael Jordan Air Jordan bio-pic Air.
Filmmaker Joe Carnahan, who directed The A-Team and Bad Boys for Life is attached to write the script and direct.
The longtime friends had their most recent collaboration on Air, which told the story behind Michael Jordan signing his historic deal with Nike.
Affleck also directed that film which was produced through their company Artists’ Equity.
They founded their production company with the aim of of offering profit participation to more of the cast and crew, including below-the-line talent.
Next up for Affleck is The Instigators which he co-stars in with Matt’s brother Casey Affleck and is also produced by Artists Equity. It drops on AppleTV+ in August.
The news comes as divorce rumors plague Affleck and Lopez, who have not been pictured together in almost one month.
The couple are selling off art work from inside their $60M mansion in Bel-Air, California.
The house was listed for $65M last month.
