SHOCK: Ruth Langsford hospitalized with anger after receiving a shocking message from Eamonn’s new lover: “How dare she do that to my son? The boy is now constantly vomiting after watching that clip!” (video)

It is never nice seeing your partner catch up with an ex in front of you.

And Ruth Langsford had a face like thunder when Eamonn Holmes appeared to be flirting with his former colleague as she sat beside him live on TV.

Former power couple Eamonn and Ruth, both 64, caused shockwaves when they announced they were heading for divorce in May after 14 years together.

Prior to their split, they were one of This Morning’s best-loved duos and were usually seen giggling on the sofa.

However, in 2018 it was a different story when Eamonn invited Anthea Turner onto the show to discuss whether it was possible to stay friends with your ex .

Eamonn and Anthea hosted GMTV from 1994 to 1996, but their relationship turned frosty, with Anthea consequently losing her job

after the GB New star accused her of being vain and branded her “Princess Tippy Toes”.

As Ruth and Eamonn discussed whether you can remain friends with an ex, following reports that Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy shared a tearful phone call just days before he tied the knot with Ms Markle, Eamonn said: “I remember that phone call only so well before our wedding. I had to make six or seven of them.” “So many, so many,” quipped Ruth, adding, “Anthea Turner was probably one.”

Turning to his former TV wife Anthea, who he actually never dated, Eamonn joked: “You are an ex of mine and we’re on good terms, some people think we hate each other!” The trip laughed politely, with Anthea noting: “And Ruth’s not bothered at all.” “Well, we’re married, properly married,” Ruth corrected her.. “Ah but we were telly husband and wife,” Anthea shot back.

Viewers couldn’t miss the awkward tension as Ruth coldly said it was “nice” that her husband and the presenter were “still friends”. Smiling sweetly, Anthea argued that if you cut off an ex you’re also splitting up with their family and she wouldn’t want to put anyone through more heartache.

She said: “I think people are forgetting there’s the sexual relationship and the friendship. If you were and are fiends, there’s a problem and there’s a break, you can get back to the normality of friendship.”

However, a stone-faced Ruth hit back by claiming they could still be “holding a torch” and having dinner and phone calls was not appropriate.

Winding up his wife further, Eamonn said: “Some people are much colder in life, they can just cut people off like that.” He then stood up to hug Anthea right in front of his furious-looking wife, before presenting his former co-host with a birthday cake.

When asked for her views, Ruth said: “I think I’ve made that quite clear. They’re my exes. If I met them in a room I’d be perfectly friendly but I don’t want them in my life. That’s done thank you very much.”

Following the testy exchange, viewers took to Twitter commenting on how riled Ruth appeared. One said: “Ruth does not look happy to have to sit between Eamonn and Anthea during this conversation.” Another added: “‘Well I’m so glad you two are friends’, hahaha Ruth is fuming.” While a third commented: “Made that quite clear Eamonn! I.e. keep the f*** away from Anthea!”

Following the news of his split from Ruth, Eamonn decided to move out of the luxury home they shared in Surrey. He has since reportedly been seeking comfort from relationship counsellor, Katie Alexander, who has been seen visiting the presenter at his rented apartment in South West London, according to The Sun.

Earlier this month, a photo emerged of Eamonn at a safari park in February, with a blonde woman visible through the vehicle’s rear window. It comes after the Loose Women star reportedly found messages between her husband and a mystery woman on Eamonn’s laptop. A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Ruth was completely taken by surprise when she saw the messages. She had no idea what had been going on between them. She was devastated. Not only was she very upset but she was also angry.”

Eamonn is said to have met Katie after she commented on one of his X, formerly known as Twitter posts. Last October, the presenter attended a charity fundraising event in Yorkshire — close to Katie’s home — and became a patron, according to reports. Ruth is reportedly ‘angry’ after the pair’s relationship became public knowledge as she was not aware they were friends.

However, the seasoned star has remained defiant through the marriage split, as she refuses to take off her wedding ring. In the weeks since announcing their split, the mum-of-one has been seen still sporting her sparkler and wedding band.

 Understanding Deductibles in Insurance

What is a Deductible?

A deductible is the amount of money a policyholder must pay out-of-pocket before an insurance company begins to cover the remaining costs. Deductibles are a fundamental component of most insurance policies, including health, auto, home, and business insurance.

How Do Deductibles Work?

When you file a claim, you are responsible for paying the deductible amount. Only after this amount is paid will the insurance company pay for the covered expenses exceeding the deductible. For example, if you have a $1,000 deductible on your car insurance and incur $3,000 in damages from an accident, you would pay the first $1,000, and the insurance company would cover the remaining $2,000.

Types of Deductibles

  1. Fixed Dollar Deductible: This is a specific amount you must pay each time you file a claim. It’s common in health and auto insurance policies.
  2. Percentage Deductible: In some cases, particularly with homeowners insurance, the deductible might be a percentage of the insured value. For instance, if your home is insured for $200,000 and you have a 2% deductible, your out-of-pocket cost would be $4,000 before insurance covers the rest.
  3. Per-Claim vs. Annual Deductible:
    • Per-Claim Deductible: You pay the deductible every time you file a claim.
    • Annual Deductible: Common in health insurance, this deductible resets each year. You pay out-of-pocket until your total expenses reach the deductible amount for the year.

Why Do Deductibles Exist?

  1. Cost Control: Deductibles help keep insurance premiums more affordable. Higher deductibles typically result in lower premiums because the policyholder assumes more initial risk.
  2. Reduced Claims Frequency: Deductibles discourage policyholders from filing small or frivolous claims, reducing the number of claims an insurer must process and pay out.
  3. Shared Responsibility: Deductibles ensure that policyholders share in the financial responsibility of their care or damages, promoting cautious behavior and maintenance of insured assets.

Choosing the Right Deductible

When selecting an insurance policy, choosing the right deductible is crucial. Here are some considerations:

  1. Financial Ability: Assess your ability to pay the deductible in case of a claim. A higher deductible can lower your premium but may be challenging to pay if an incident occurs.
  2. Risk Tolerance: Determine how much risk you are comfortable assuming. If you prefer lower out-of-pocket costs during an emergency, a lower deductible might be preferable, albeit with a higher premium.
  3. Frequency of Claims: Consider how often you might need to file a claim. If you anticipate frequent claims, a lower deductible might be more cost-effective over time.

Impact on Premiums

The relationship between deductibles and premiums is inverse. Generally, the higher the deductible, the lower the premium, and vice versa. This trade-off allows policyholders to customize their insurance based on their financial situation and risk appetite.

Conclusion

Deductibles are a key feature of insurance policies that influence both the cost of premiums and the financial burden on policyholders when filing claims. Understanding how deductibles work and carefully selecting an appropriate deductible can help balance cost savings with financial protection, ensuring optimal insurance coverage tailored to individual needs and circumstances.
